Job Description

Kitman Labs is the performance intelligence company, disrupting and transforming the way the sports industry uses data to unlock the potential of the world’s top athletes.

Driven by a passion to innovate in the areas of sports performance, analytics and user experience, we have assembled a team of the industry’s top data scientists, sports performance scientists, product and software designers and engineers.

Kitman Labs’ advanced operating system, the Intelligence Platform (iP) is now used by over 2000 teams in 50 leagues on 6 continents, including the NFL, Premier League, National Women’s Soccer League and MLS.

The Role

As an Associate Applied Performance Specialist, you are one of the main points of contact for our customers and a key part of why they succeed with the platform. You help onboard and deploy new customers, get their performance, sports science, coaching, and medical staff comfortable in iP, and drive adoption that turns new users into power users. You will also troubleshoot technical issues, configure systems and help teams make practical use of their data.

This is an Ireland-based role with a strong focus on platform configuration and deployment work. From day one you will be working closely with a Performance Strategist on significant accounts, playing a hands-on role in the technical setup, configuration and rollout. There is real scope to develop quickly as the Applied Performance team grows.

What you'll do

  • Support onboarding and deployment for new customers, helping them get proficient and adopt iP within their first 90 days
  • Play an active role in platform configuration and technical setup for new deployments, working through system builds, module configuration and integration connections
  • Work closely with our Performance Strategists on key accounts, providing the technical delivery that brings their strategy to life
  • Help club/team, league, federation and organisation staff get the most out of iP and keep them up to speed as new features ship
  • Work with our Performance Strategists and Sales teams to run platform demos for prospects and customers
  • Provide responsive customer support through our in platform support system, covering accounts assigned by the Global Manager
  • Handle technical account work including account creation, system and module configuration, integration connections, report generation, dashboard building, system maintenance and manual upload guidance
  • Bring customer feedback back to Product and Technology by logging feature requests, documenting bugs and supporting product and migration testing
  • Support customers globally, regardless of region

What you'll bring

  • A background in sport, high performance or a related field, or a clear understanding of how elite and semi-professional sporting organisations operate
  • Curiosity about technology and a good aptitude for SaaS platforms - you pick up new software quickly and enjoy understanding how it works
  • Comfort with technical and configuration-heavy work - you are methodical, detail-oriented and satisfied when a complex setup comes together correctly
  • Clear written and verbal communication, a customer-first mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Comfort working across time zones with a global customer base
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with an athlete management system or sports performance, analytics or athlete data platform
  • Knowledge of Irish football or the domestic league and club structure in Ireland
  • Time spent in a customer-facing, implementation, onboarding or technical support role, ideally in sport or sports technology
  • Experience working with professional or semi-professional teams, leagues or governing bodies

Where we can take you

We expect this team to grow significantly over the next 6 to 12 months, with clear paths into Onboarding and Deployment, Enablement, Operations and Account Management. If you bring a strong work ethic and a desire to learn, you will have plenty of chances to build your skills and take on more responsibility quickly.
