Here's a Summary Of Responsibilities
The Coordinator, Sport Technology &Datawill support the Sport & Athlete Services division's data management and reporting efforts by assisting with data collection, organization, reporting, quality assurance, and documentation. This role will work closely with the Sport Technology & Data team and business stakeholders to help maintain accurate and reliable data, develop and update reports and dashboards, and support data-related projects and processes.
The ideal candidate is a resourceful and curious problem solver with strong attention to detail, an interest in data and technology, and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. This position provides an opportunity to build experience working with data, technology systems, reporting, and cross-functional teams in a dynamic sports environment.
Here’s How You’ll Have An Impact
*Data Management & Reporting*
- Assist the Sport Technology & Data team with collecting, organizing, validating, and maintaining data from various systems and sources.
- Support the development and maintenance of reports, graphs, and dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Excel, with a focus on accuracy, usability, and clear presentation of information.
- Assist with data quality checks and identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate data for review and resolution.
- Support the team in documenting data sources, data definitions, data owners, and how data is used across reports and dashboards.
- Assist with data entry, data cleanup, data validation, and other activities that support the integrity of centralized data sources.
- Support the Sport Technology & Data team in identifying opportunities to improve data-related processes and workflows.
- Assist with testing and documenting enhancements to technology systems, reports, dashboards, and data processes.
- Assist with survey data collection, organization, and basic analysis as needed.
- Support the creation of analytical materials and presentations by organizing data and helping communicate findings in a clear and accessible manner.
*Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support*
- Work with departments and business owners across Sport & Athlete Services to collect, validate, and maintain accurate data.
- Respond to requests for sport and athlete data by helping stakeholders locate and use existing reports, dashboards, and approved data sources.
- Assist with user support and basic training related to centralized dashboards, reports, and data tools.
- Partner with the Sport Technology & Data team to document business processes, data workflows, system requirements, and reporting needs.
- Assist with testing and quality assurance for data integrations, dashboards, reports, and technology enhancements.
- Maintain organized documentation and reference materials for data sources, reports, dashboards, and recurring processes.
- Stay current on team tools, systems, and processes and develop knowledge of data and technology platforms used across Sport & Athlete Services.
- Support special projects and other data- and technology-related initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred emphasis in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, technology, or a related field.
- Internship, academic, volunteer, or project experience involving data, reporting, technology, or analytics is applicable.
- Experience working with Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL, or similar tools is preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and data visualization concepts.
- Foundational proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Tableau or another data visualization tool preferred.
- Interestin learning SQL, Snowflake, and other data management technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
- Curious, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies and processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues and ask appropriate questions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teammates and stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to respond professionally to requests and questions.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance or clarification.
- Familiarity with sports,athlete, or organizational data is a plus.

- Hiring pay range $23.50 - $25.40 per hour.
