JOB TITLE: Coordinator, Ticket Operations
REPORTING TO: Director, Ticket Operations
DEPARTMENT: Ticket Operations/Business Intelligence
LOCATION: Hybrid, New York, NY
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Coordinator of Ticket Operations will assist with all aspects of ticketing and box office services. This position will play a critical role in the execution of our ticketing strategy and overall event operations, by acting as a liaison between ticket sales, services, and internal departments. This position also requires excellent customer service for all internal and external clients.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a transformational moment for New York City FC by supporting the club’s transition to its first-ever soccer-specific stadium Etihad Park, opening in 2027.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist in building full season and partial plans, single events, and price codes in Archtics
- Responsible for the fulfillment of NYCFC season, group, and individual ticket requests
- Assist in the implementation and execution of online ticketing promotions
- Assist in generating reports based on ticket promotions, sales, inventory, balance past due etc.
- Support Fan Relations and Sales Team with reports and database maintenance
- Research issues concerning customer accounts, ticket printing, and internet and online purchases
- Provide excellent customer service on game days - handle questions and solve problems.
- Build a positive working relationship with Box Office personnel
- Assist in maintaining the ticketing system
- Set up and manage online ticket management through TM Account Manager
- Support matchday ticket operations, including access control functions
- Serve as the point of contact for the business development and membership services department and all the internal ticketing needs
- All other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 2+ years of experience in Ticket Operations.
- A strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromising judgment and discretion to protect the confidentiality/privacy of others, and company documents and records.
- Previous experience in Archtics/Host or other ticketing system is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications / excel is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, bilingual is a plus.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Accurate, efficient, and timely execution of tasks and able to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
COMPENSATION:
This non-exempt position has an estimated annual base salary range of $50,00 - $55,000. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all of our initial calls.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and any other applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFC
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to work games scheduled which may be at night and on weekends and holidays
