First Team Set Piece Analyst Study Programme at Fc Midtjylland
Job Description
FC Midtjylland, in partnership with ISI Højskole, is offering a unique 12-month study programme for aspiring football analysts looking to specialise in set-piece analysis within an elite professional environment.
Working alongside the First Team Set-Piece Coach, Performance Analysis Department, and coaching staff, participants will gain hands-on experience in one of Scandinavia's most innovative football clubs while completing an educational programme that includes the UEFA C Coaching Licence.
- Analyse opposition attacking and defensive set-pieces, identifying patterns, strengths, weaknesses, and tactical trends
- Build and maintain opposition set-piece databases
- Produce detailed reports, presentations, and video analysis for the Set-Piece Coach
- Integrate video, data, and technology into the analysis process
- Provide live analytical support during training sessions and matches when required
- Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of attacking and defensive set-pieces
- Provide pre-match, in-game, and half-time set-piece insights to assist tactical adjustments
- Produce post-match reviews using video and performance data
- Maintain comprehensive databases of team set-piece actions and performance metrics
- Operate TrackMan technology and utilise data to improve individual player set-piece performance
- Monitor emerging trends and best practice in set-piece coaching across professional football
- Collaborate with the Performance Analysis and Data departments to improve set-piece methodologies
- Contribute to research projects and innovation within the club's analysis processes
- Work closely with the Set-Piece Coach, Analysis Department, and First Team coaching staff
- Assist with player-facing presentations and on-field coaching support during training
- Contribute to wider departmental projects and analysis workflows
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development
Alongside practical experience with FC Midtjylland, participants will study at ISI Højskole, where they will:
- Complete the UEFA C Coaching Licence
- Learn FC Midtjylland's playing philosophy and style of play
- Study specialist football disciplines
- Gain insight into Danish football culture
- Live and learn within a professional football environment
