THE TEAM AND ITS MISSION

KINEXON manages hundreds of active customer installations all around the globe running with different configurations in heterogeneous and demanding environments. To support this growth and ensure a standardized and stable deployment we have started to develop the KINEXON Runtime Platform, a solution responsible for deploying, running and monitoring the KINEXON software stack in a containerized environment.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the ongoing development of the KINEXON Runtime Platform
  • Design and implementation of Single Page Web Applications using Vue 3
  • Implementation of REST APIs in backend (microservices) based on Go/Golang
  • Testing and debugging your code in a manual and automated way (unit and integration tests)
  • Reviewing code changes from other team members and providing them with valuable feedback
  • Documenting your changes and presenting released features to stakeholders (mostly KINEXON developers from other teams)
  • Participating in software architecture design meetings for planning future changes

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
  • You have deep knowledge in backend development (preferably Go/Golang), especially distributed systems
  • You are experienced with JavaScript frontend frameworks (preferably Vue 3) and know web technologies like HTML and CSS
  • You are familiar with container-native concepts, technologies, and tools (e.g., Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, CNCF Registry, OCI artifacts, SBOM)
  • You have worked with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Sentry, and others
  • You know how to maintain and debug CI/CD pipelines and their build infrastructure
  • You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and cloud providers (AWS or Hetzner)
  • Experience integrating and using generative AI tools / LLMs is a plus
  • You communicate well, show a hands-on mentality, and take ownership of your work
  • You are fluent in English; German is a plus
