Job Description
The New York Yankees are seeking an International Scouting Analyst to support the club’s International Scouting department through data analysis, predictive modelling, and player evaluation.
Based at the BayCare Player Development & Scouting Complex in Tampa, the successful candidate will work closely with the scouting department to provide insights on international amateur players and contribute to key recruitment decision-making processes.

⚾ Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain data quality across multiple sources
- Build and implement predictive models using advanced statistical techniques
- Prepare, manage, and visualise large-scale datasets
- Support international player evaluation and scouting processes
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical audiences
- Contribute to decision-making across the International Scouting department
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience building predictive models in Python or R
- Strong understanding of statistics and probability
- Experience using SQL
- Familiarity with modern baseball research and analytics
- Ability to travel internationally throughout the year
⭐ Desirable
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with international player markets
- Experience using probabilistic programming languages such as Stan or PyMC
