Blackburn Rovers are recruiting a Lead Academy Analyst to oversee performance analysis across their Youth Development Phase (U13–U16).
The successful candidate will deliver video and data analysis to support player development, coaching decisions and the Academy Performance Plan.
- Deliver pre-match, live and post-match analysis.
- Capture, code and manage match and training footage.
- Produce individual and team performance feedback.
- Support player Development Action Plans (DAPs).
- Maintain performance databases and dashboards.
- Collaborate with coaching, sports science and recruitment staff.
- Support coach education and EPPP compliance.
- Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent.
- Hudl Sportscode proficiency (essential).
- UEFA C Licence or working towards.
- Strong tactical knowledge of U13–U16 football.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and player development.
Desirable: MSc, UEFA B Licence, Wyscout, Hudl and Coach Paint experience.
Safeguarding: Enhanced DBS check required.
