Mens Performance Analyst at Hurricanes
Job Description
The Hurricanes are recruiting an outstanding Performance Analyst to join their men’s high-performance team.
Working alongside the Lead Analyst, the successful candidate will support the delivery of the Hurricanes’ men’s analysis programme across training, matchday and opposition analysis.
This is an applied role within a professional rugby environment, supporting coaches and the wider high-performance team through the effective capture, analysis and delivery of performance information.
The Performance Analyst will contribute across the full analysis cycle, from training capture and live match workflows through to post-match and opposition analysis, while also helping develop the club’s analysis systems, technology and processes.
- Coordinate the setup, capture, coaching and delivery of training sessions.
- Deliver live match analysis workflows.
- Support post-match analysis and review.
- Contribute to opposition analysis.
- Provide audio-visual support and content delivery across the programme.
- Support the development and coordination of intern analysts.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the club’s analysis workflows, processes and technology.
- Support continuous improvement across the Hurricanes’ high-performance environment.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Proven experience working within a high-performance team environment, at NPC level or similar.
- A strong understanding of rugby and the ability to interpret the game from an analytical perspective.
- Proficiency with Hudl Sportscode and Hudl Studio.
- Strong technical capability across Apple and Microsoft platforms.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage time-sensitive priorities within a high-performance environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to performance analysis.
