F.C. København are recruiting a Performance Analyst to join their First Team performance analysis operation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the coaching and wider performance staff, translating video and analysis into clear, actionable feedback for the team, units and individual players.
A significant element of the position will be leading the analytical contribution to Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and ensuring player development is effectively tracked and documented.
The Performance Analyst will contribute across the First Team analysis process, with particular responsibility for post-match evaluation, individual player development, live tagging and video delivery.
The analyst will work directly with coaches and players to ensure analysis supports both collective performance and individual development.
- Conduct tactical post-match analysis at team level and prepare feedback alongside the coaching staff.
- Deliver post-match evaluations at unit and individual player level.
- Ensure individual analysis is closely aligned with each player’s Individual Development Plan (IDP).
- Take a lead role in the IDP process, preparing presentations and tracking information.
- Maintain and continuously update player development records.
- Deliver accurate live tagging during matches, capturing predefined events and phases of play.
- Edit and prepare post-match video to ensure footage is available quickly following fixtures.
- Develop and maintain a Best Practice Library containing relevant tactical, technical and individual examples.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, organisation and confidentiality when managing player and match information.
- Contribute to a First Team culture built around high standards and accountability.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Strong understanding of football tactics and match analysis principles.
- Experience using video analysis and live-tagging platforms such as Hudl Sportscode, LiveTagPro or equivalent.
- Ability to translate video and data insights into clear and actionable presentations for coaches and players.
- Strong organisational skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach.
- Experience managing player-development information and analytical resources.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver rapid post-match turnaround.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- High professional standards and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Danish language skills are advantageous but are not essential.
A particularly important aspect of this position is its emphasis on individual player development.
The analyst will help connect:
Match Analysis → Individual Feedback → IDPs → Development Tracking → Best Practice
This provides an opportunity to move beyond simply producing analysis outputs and contribute directly to the ongoing development process between players, coaches and the analysis department.
