Summary
The Senior Analyst in Member Finance position plays a pivotal role in supporting financial operations for over 1,000 professional tennis players and 300\+ tournaments worldwide. This strategic position combines advanced financial analysis, cutting-edge payment technology, and direct impact on athlete compensation \& tournament payment systems. This position operates at the intersection of sports, finance, and technology to optimize ATP's delivery of financial services to players and tournament stakeholders globally. This position is based in the Atlantic Beach (Florida, U.S.) office and reports to the Senior Director, Member Finance.
Responsibilities \& Duties
Financial Analysis \& Reporting and Operations
:
* Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and produce executive-level reports on tournament payments/receipts, player compensation, and payment trends.
* Develop and track KPIs related to member investments, payments, and overall trends.
* Provide strategic analysis support to senior management and collaborate with the Strategy team on consolidated reporting.
* Responsible for reconciliation of Tournament and Player data.
* Create transparent financial dashboards for member visibility into ATP transactions.
* Oversee end-to-end payment processing for tournament distributions and player compensation programs.
* Optimize processes and collaborate with all parties to implement cross-border payment strategies to reduce timing, delivery, costs, and friction.
Strategic Analysis \& Technology Integration
:
* Drive process improvements through data analytics and technology solutions.
* Centralize all member finance data by integrating operations and data flows with internal teams and external providers.
* Lead implementation and optimization of payment systems, including APIs for automation and real-time payment tracking.
* Research and evaluate emerging payment technologies (real-time payments, open banking, blockchain solutions).
* Maintain and enhance ATP data repositories and member finance models.
* Leverage Machine Learning and AI to maintain and refine the member finance model, adapting to new data inputs and business needs.
Player Member Financial Services
:
* Serve as senior point of contact for complex player financial inquiries and resolution, including but not limited to prize money, bonuses, tax withholding breakdowns, pension matters, and other compensation programs.
* Oversee pension plan payment accuracy and timing, maintaining detailed contribution records and calculations.
* Support third-party providers managing member benefit programs.
* Lead member communication initiatives for player compensation programs, providing statements and projections.
* Maintain up-to-date records, including contributions, credits, and calculations.
Leadership \& Collaboration
:
* Collaborate with Player and Tournament teams to maintain and enhance member database systems.
* Partner with Digital and IT teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives across all member finance operations.
* Work closely with business teams to ensure data availability, accuracy, and usability.
* Support administrative and other projects as defined by the Supervisor and required by ATP management.
Qualifications \& Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
* 5\+ years of experience in finance, accounting, payments, or related roles.
* Demonstrated experience working with databases (ie, SQL Server), including data extraction, transformation, and validation.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
* Familiarity with payment processing, cross-border payments, and reconciliation.
* Strong technology orientation with interest in emerging payment solutions.
* Understanding of emerging technologies (ie, artificial intelligence, advanced data analytics) and their potential financial and business impact.
* Experience with multiple financial systems preferred.
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support members and stakeholders.
