We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sports Consultant to join our Advisory Service Line within a leading architecture and engineering group, where you will help develop our regional sports practice by providing technical expertise in sports programming, feasibility studies, facility planning, and project delivery for large-scale developments. Our team operates at the forefront of the early stages of development (feasibility, design, and planning) as well as post-delivery evaluations and optimization, leveraging our engineering, architecture, and technology expertise to shape the future of urban spaces and sports infrastructure.
Job Description
• Sports Programming & Technical Feasibility Studies
• Conduct preliminary assessments (RIBA Stage 0 & 1) for sports facility developments.
• Develop sports programming strategies tailored to client needs and regional market trends.
• Analyze site feasibility, user demand, and operational considerations for sports venues.
• Project Management & Delivery
• Lead and manage the technical aspects of sports-related projects from inception to execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with international sports regulations and governing body requirements.
• Proposal Development & Technical Advisory
• Provide technical inputs for bids, proposals, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with the business development team to position the firm as a market leader in sports advisory.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates, project timelines, and feasibility reports.
• Collaboration & Strategic Alignment
• Work closely with other service lines to align on strategic objectives, business development initiatives and project outputs.
• Act as a key technical resource within the Advisory Practice, contributing to knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sports innovations, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, Sports Management, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in sports consulting, planning, or facility development.
• Proven track record of delivering sports programming and feasibility studies.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Knowledge of international and regional sports facility standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with design and planning software (AutoCAD, Revit, GIS) is a plus.
