THE ROLE This role is part of Genius' team that helps sports leagues and teams boost performance on and off the field using cutting-edge tech, analytics, and visual insights. We are looking for a Sports Customer Onboarding Officer to support the rollout of Genius Sports products across leagues and partners. You will onboard new clients, manage technical setups, and ensure smooth delivery of streaming and analytics solutions. This role works closely with both clients and internal teams, requiring strong coordination, product understanding, and the ability to keep operations running efficiently. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Onboard leagues, federations, and partners onto Genius Sports products • Set up and support streaming integrations and the GeniusIQ analytics platform • Configure technical setups, manage timelines, and ensure smooth project delivery and handover • Deliver product training to internal teams and external clients • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Commercial teams • Maintain accurate documentation and training materials • Support seasonal readiness, respond to client requests, and resolve or escalate technical issues WHAT YOU'LL BRING • Strong understanding of how sports competitions operate across leagues and formats • Experience onboarding users or clients onto technical products or platforms • Knowledge of video streaming fundamentals such as codecs, resolution, and delivery protocols • Comfortable working with APIs and reading technical documentation • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Monday.com • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills • Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused approach IT WILL BE A BONUS IF YOU HAVE • Passion for sports and interest in sports technology • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences • Curiosity and drive to improve processes and workflows We enjoy an ‘office-first’ culture and maximize opportunities to collaborate, connect and learn together.
