Job Summary & Responsibilities
• Original Content: Produce original video podcast shows.
• Production & Shooting: Handle camera operation, lighting, and audio for sports-related interviews and segments.
• Video Editing: Edit short-form and long-form content. Optimize videos for YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and social media.
• Publishing & Distribution: Manage the upload process. Follow technical requirements for video and audio feeds.
• Digital Creative: Design thumbnails and basic on-screen graphics to support video content.
• Sports Copywriting: Write clear titles and descriptions. Use your knowledge of the Cardinals, Blues, and sports betting to reach the right audience.
• Collaboration: Work with talent and producers to select the best moments, execute content strategies, and refine copywriting.
• Media Management: Organize raw footage and project files. Ensure all assets are backed up and easy to access.
• Technical Growth: Stay current with production tools. We use Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve. You must be ready to master both.Preferred Qualifications
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in video production or digital content creation.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. Experience with DaVinci Resolve or a strong willingness to learn it is required.
• Sports Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of St. Louis sports, specifically the Cardinals and Blues, and the sports betting market.
• Storytelling: Ability to identify the hook in a sports segment and translate it into a digital clip.
• Teamwork & Feedback: Ability to take direction well. You must accept constructive feedback from producers and the executive producer and adapt quickly.
• Communication: Strong writing skills for digital metadata.
• Portfolio: A demo reel or portfolio showcasing your ability to shoot, edit, and package sports content.
• Ability to operate production equipment and sit or stand for extended periods during shoots and edits.
• Reliable transportation for studio work and occasional offsite events.
• Flexibility: This role follows the sports calendar. You must be able to work occasional evenings or weekends based on the game schedule or live events
