Spring Break Camp Coach at Texas Legends

SPRING BREAK BASKETBALL CAMP COACH The Texas Legends NBA G-League in Frisco, TX is currently seeking candidates for our Spring Break Youth Basketball Camp. Texas Legends camp coaches are part-time and allow individuals the opportunity to gain valuable work experience within a professional sports organization through hands on experience. This position is paid, and students are encouraged to seek college credit wherever possible. A successful applicant will demonstrate strong organizational skills along with initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to collaborate with fellow team members for the achievement of department goals. We are looking for someone willing to blend easily into a team environment, but driven to take the initiative to succeed when presented with individual work responsibilities Basketball camp counselors will be responsible for the following duties: • Help execute and organize camp structure • Assist with camp set-up & breakdown • Develop innovative drills for all basketball skill levels • Assist commissioners with various tasks as needed • Create a fun, safe environment for all Preferred Requirements: • Currently enrolled or plan to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program-- preferred majors: Sport Management, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or other related field. • Previous experience working with children (ages 6-14) • Previous experience participating in the sport of basketball • Ability to coach the fundamentals of basketball TIMELINE: • Apply sooner than later. • Potential applicants will be contacted through e-mail. • In-person interviews will be scheduled following e-mail correspondence. • Employment will run from March 16th 2026 – March 19th 2026. • Please submit a résumé. • Phone calls will not be taken for this position. • Opportunity to be brought on for our summer camp sessions.
