Studentship Msc Performance Analysis In Sport at Hartpury Fc

The Postgraduate Studentship offers a part-funded place on Hartpury University’s MSc Applied Performance Analysis in Sport degree whilst undertaking a year-long placement with Hartpury FC. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine studying a postgraduate degree at one of the top sporting universities in the UK whilst also gaining real world experience in a high performance football environment. This Studentship can be over one or two years. The Postgraduate Studentship offers a part-funded place on Hartpury University’s MSc Applied Performance Analysis in Sport degree whilst undertaking a year-long placement with Hartpury FC. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine studying a postgraduate degree at one of the top sporting universities in the UK whilst also gaining real world experience in a high performance football environment. This Studentship can be over one or two years. The placement is a minimum of 10 hours per week. • The placement will require you to start in pre-season (July) through to the end of the season (May). • Filming and coding of both training sessions and matches, home and away. • Delivery of individual, unit and team-based analysis sessions. • Managing the creation and development of individual player/team clip library on Hudl. • Contributing to projects and reports to the Performance Analysis department. • Regular communication and engagement with FC Head Coach in ensuring the smooth running of analysis provision at the club. • Completing your postgraduate research project alongside our university strategic direction with the aim of actively contributing to our evolving postgraduate research and knowledge exchange community and impacting our applied Sports Academy provision. Essential • 2.2 undergraduate degree in related field (although this is open to discussion based on application). • A positive work ethic and a willingness to learn. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Trustworthy and reliable. Desirable • Experience using performance analysis equipment such as filming football matches and confident working with technology e.g. Hudl/Hudl Sportscode. • Familiarity with performance analysis software. • Sound knowledge of football. • UEFA Coaching qualifications. • Part-funded tuition on the MSc Applied Performance Analysis degree (over two years). • Involved with coaching in one of the most successful educational football programmes in the UK. • Access to world-class coaching and sports science facilities to aid in your development as a coaching practitioner. • Opportunity to network with professional and semi-professional clubs, players and coaches both nationally and internationally. • Access to Hudl’s online video analysis platform. • Gym membership for the Sports Academy, staff kit and free parking. • Membership to our PG Studentship Group who meet regularly for CPD, sharing of good practice and reflection sessions.
