Team Operations - First Team Analyst at Nashville SC

The First Team Analyst will be responsible for aiding the first team in various forms of technical and tactical analysis and preparation. The successful candidate will possess a versatile set of skills across video and data analysis, a deep tactical understanding of the game and a strong desire to learn. Essential Functions • Film and code all first team training sessions, providing live feedback to the coaching staff when necessary. • Lead post-training analysis process – collection of best practice clips to be presented to coaching staff. • Maintain library of training drills. • Assist on matchday with live coding of games. • Conduct post-match analysis in collaboration with coaches to collect & database best practice clips. • Assist with recruitment and management of first team interns. • Provide specific analysis projects as directed by coaching staff. • Other duties as assigned by Head of Analysis or coaching staff. Key Requirements • Minimum 2 years of experience working within professional or NCAA soccer. • Strong understanding of soccer tactics & willingness to learn Nashville SC game model. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. • Proficient in the use of Hudl products (Sportscode, Insight, Studio, Wyscout) or equivalent video analysis software. • Experience in filming training/matches, as well as flying drones. • Ability to work non-traditional hours, travel consistently & work to tight deadlines. • Strong communication skills, experience in building presentations using video and/or data to provide insights to the coaching staff.
