Trackman Analytics Administrator at Jackson Rockabillys

The Jackson Rockabillys are a summer a Prospect League summer collegiate baseball team located in Jackson, TN.  We are entering our second season in the Prospect League and are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our intern team for the 2026 season.  We are excited to welcome a new class of interns to work with us! Interns would need to report in early to mid-May with a finish date following the Prospect League Season. Regular Season home games will be over by the end July, however potential playoffs and special events may be held in early to mid- August. The starting date is flexible depending on the applicant’s school schedule. This is an unpaid internship with an end of season $600.00 stipend for completion of the seasonal internships. Applicants should pursue college credit from their college or university. The Trackman Analytics Administrator is specifically responsible for running the Trackman system for all games. This position is crucial for setting up the system that tracks player statistics during games, so we are seeking someone very comfortable with baseball stats, including sabermetrics. The Trackman administator will work all 28 home games. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: ·       Collect rosters and other applicable information and be set up at assigned seat in press box before first pitch. ·       Input game stats throughout all home games accurately ·       Provide the broadcasters with interesting statistics throughout live coverage ·       Responsible for setting up rosters and tagging all game information in the Trackman system. ·       Log information for the entire game; monitoring the system and making any changes throughout the game (i.e., roster            changes, defensive substitutions, etc.). ·       Troubleshoot system issues with Trackman support, fixing any errors, and uploading the data to the Trackman cloud                upon completion. ·       Maintain Trackman equipment required for tagging. ·       Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: ·       Proficient experience in data & analytics, preferably baseball data ·       Must maintain professional attitude at all times ·       Ability to attend all Rockabillys home games (with additional time needed to prepare for in game work) ·       Must have strong communication skills, well organized, and detail oriented ·       Previous experience using Trackman software is preferred but not required.
