Job Description

The Training Camp Football Communications Intern will assist with day-to-day responsibilities for the communications department during the team’s annual Training Camp at Loyola Marymount University. The individual will assist with football-related media responsibilities such as facilitating interviews with players and coaches, recording and transcribing press conferences, and assisting with media logistics. Role Responsibilities: • Helping with the processing and distribution of credentials and parking for media • Processing and facilitating media requests for players and coaches • Press Conference setup • Transcribing news conferences for key players and coaches • Help compiling news clippings to be disseminated to staff • Assisting with media monitoring • Printing of team rosters for media Role Qualifications (Skills/Experience/Capabilities): • Strong writing skills and experience • Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail and work effectively to meet deadlines • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office and Excel software • Currently enrolled in a college or university • College sports media experience preferred Pay Rate: $17.81/hour The Los Angeles Rams are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
