INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS: • Reliable transportation to and from work • Ability to work off hours (nights, weekends, holidays) when needed • Must get college credit for internship • Student must major in broadcast journalism, video production, or other communications degree • Internship is unpaid • Good attitude • Ability to work well and collaborate with others and willingness to learn • Ability to withstand working in elements (heat, rain, snow) INTERNSHIP DETAILS: • Internship will be well supervised with regular meetings with newsroom or production managers • Internship provides hands-on learning experiences in real-world scenarios • At the end of the internship, students should have some real-world examples, such as a resume reel, of the work they can do and what they’ve done during the internship
