About The Fan Ecosystem Team
The Fan Ecosystem team sits across the Fanatics Company and focuses on the Fanatics App, Enterprise Loyalty, and Enterprise identity. The Fanatics App is becoming the daily home for sports fans - the place they buy, bet, collect, and play from one connected surface. We build experiences that impact Fans across the whole of Fanatics and back-end tools that empower Fanatics Operating Companies to improve customer experiences within their specific sites and apps. This role sits on the Experience Design team within Fan Ecosystem, representing the customer voice that empowers fan-first decision-making across product, design, and engineering.
About The Role
We’re looking for a
User Experience Researcher
to help drive user-centered decision-making across our product teams. In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing research projects that enhance our understanding of fan behaviors, needs, and pain points. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to design and conduct research that directly impacts the Fanatics’ customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Sr. Manager of UX Research in the daily operations of the UXR program.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and Commercial Teams to develop research plans that align with the product roadmap.
- Manage research intake requests from stakeholders, creating structured research plans that drive alignment and reduce inefficiencies.
- Plan and execute evaluative research for new and existing features.
- Plan and execute discovery research for the future product roadmap.
- Conduct qualitative customer interviews to generate insights that inform product and design decisions.
- Set up and manage unmoderated user tests.
- Plan, manage, and synthesize quantitative research efforts such as surveys.
- Work with researchers across different Fanatics verticals to gather holistic fan insights and connect learnings across the Fanatics organizations.
- Manage the collection of and reporting on longitudinal health metrics such as NPS and CSAT.
- Own research operations for projects, including screening and recruiting, scheduling, methodology, tooling, synthesis & analysis processes, and socializing insights.
- Ensure holistic analysis of problems by leveraging multiple primary and secondary data sources.
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and communicate them effectively to non-research audiences including leadership, product, design, engineering, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Advocate for research findings and the voice-of-the-customer in a variety of settings, across communication channels, and across stakeholders.
- Assist in other research operations work such as research participant management, data management, defining and documenting processes, selecting research tools, and standardizing methods.
- In addition to research responsibilities, you will also grow your professional research skills and expertise, work alongside experienced product and design professionals, and have opportunities to perform research in many capacities and methods.
