Job Description

Video Analyst breaks down match and training footage to provide tactical insights and performance evaluations. They collaborate directly with the coaching staff to enhance on-field decisions, scout opponents, and support individual player development.

Core Responsibilities

  • Filming & Coding: Record and capture matches and training sessions; tag and code specific events (passes, shots, defensive actions) for easy retrieval.
  • Tactical Analysis: Study opponents' patterns of play, formations, and strengths to prepare pre-match opposition analysis.
  • Performance Review: Evaluate individual and team performance post-match to identify areas of improvement and recurring gameplay patterns.
  • Video Editing: Produce clear, concise video edits and visual reports (combining clips with voice-over, text annotations, and statistical data) for player debriefs.
  • Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with sports science and medical teams for injury prevention or assist the scouting department with talent identification.

Position Compensation: $15.00/hr.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4\+ years) related experience

Experience; Some working knowledge of the sport program to be supported

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
