Who We Are: Minnesota United FC (MNUFC) is a professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of soccer in North America. As a club driven by passion and community, we operate under the oversight of the U.S. Soccer Federation, a member of FIFA. Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. On matchdays, we call Allianz Field in St. Paul home—one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country. Position: The Video Producer & Editor is part of the Marketing & Communications department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America. Position Summary: The Video Producer & Editor responsible for bringing MNUFC stories and brand to life through compelling, high-quality video content. This position plays a key role in capturing the energy of matchdays, training, community moments, and behind-the-scenes storytelling. This role will create video assets that support marketing campaigns, grow our fanbase, and strengthen our connection with the community. From concept to final cut, this role supports the creative development, production, and execution of video content across Club broadcasts, stadium productions, and digital platforms year-round. This is a full-time role primarily based in Golden Valley, MN and will require local travel between MNUFC locations. What You’ll Do: Produce, Shoot & Capture • Lead the setup and execution of video shoots across matches, training sessions, interviews, events, and special projects including lighting, audio, and camera equipment • Capture high-quality footage that reflects the Club’s brand, energy, and storytelling standards • Support live and in-stadium productions as needed throughout the season Edit & Create • Edit a wide range of video content including features, highlights, promos, social content, and long-form storytelling • Support creative editing initiatives that align with marketing campaigns, digital strategy, and match presentation needs • Maintain consistent visual style and storytelling voice across platforms Creative Development • Collaborate with the Production team to ideate storylines, features, and innovative content concepts • Assist in developing shot lists, storyboards, and production plans to ensure efficient and creative execution • Bring fresh ideas and a creative eye to elevate Club storytelling Collaboration & Video Operations • Partner closely with the Digital Content and Marketing teams to maximize reach and repurpose content effectively • Maintain and organize the Club’s video server, including ingesting, labeling, and archiving match footage and other video assets • Work collaboratively across departments to support Club initiatives, campaigns, and values • Support any additional production needs as reasonably assigned What You’ll Bring: • 3–5 years of professional video production experience, ideally within sports, entertainment, media, or live event environments • Strong proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder • Experience producing, shooting, and editing video content across multiple formats and platforms • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Creative storyteller with a strong eye for detail, pacing, and visual consistency • Flexible schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by matchdays and events • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds as part of production setup and execution • Willingness to travel occasionally to support Club initiatives, away matches, or special projects Compensation & Benefits: ...
