Analyst at PIVOT Intelligence
Job Description
Company Description
PIVOT Intelligence is a decision-making artificial intelligence company built specifically for basketball, transforming predictive analytics and in-house data into actionable decisions for coaches and front offices. Instead of only describing past performance, PIVOT’s technology processes real-time game and player data to recommend the highest-value decision in any situation. The platform is designed for high-pressure competitive environments, delivering clear, reliable guidance without noise or guesswork. Applicants join a team focused on giving basketball operators a durable competitive edge through advanced AI and data science.
Role Description

In this role, you will analyze game and player data, support the development of predictive models, and translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for coaches, front offices, and internal stakeholders. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and basketball operations teams to refine decision-making tools and validate model outputs against real-world scenarios. Daily responsibilities include data cleaning and exploration, building reports and dashboards, preparing presentations, and contributing to experimental analysis that improves PIVOT’s core decision engine. You will also help document methodologies, maintain data quality standards, and participate in ongoing feedback loops with end users to ensure the analytics remain practical and competitive.
