Who We Are: Minnesota United FC (MNUFC) is a professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of soccer in North America. As a club driven by passion and community, we operate under the oversight of the U.S. Soccer Federation, a member of FIFA. Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. On matchdays, we call Allianz Field in St. Paul home—one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country. Position: The Camps & Clinics Associate is part of the Youth Development Program (YDP) for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America. Position Summary: The Camps & Clinics Associate position is responsible for on-field coaching for MNUFC Youth Camps & Clinics, assisting with the organization and execution of age-appropriate Camps & Clinics throughout the Twin Cities, State of MN, and surrounding area. This position will allow you to merge a passion for coaching and community, while promoting your career growth in professional sports. This part-time seasonal role (May – September) is based in Blaine, MN and reports to the Head of Youth Camps & Clinics. What You’ll Do: • Lead engaging on-field coaching for Youth Camps & Clinics and Pre-Academy programs, creating a fun, inclusive, and development focused environment • Design and lead age-appropriate training sessions aligned with Club methodology, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and confidence building • Support Academy Coaches by helping implement the Club’s playing philosophy and coaching standards during training sessions and events • Serve as a positive ambassador for the Club, providing a welcoming and professional experience for participants and their families • Coordinate and support all on-site logistics for camps and training sessions, including setup, execution, and breakdown of fields and equipment • Assist with camp preparation and operations, such as organizing apparel, managing equipment, and pick-up/drop-off processes What You’ll Bring: • Passion for growing the game of soccer in Minnesota • Enjoy coaching and working with youth • A positive attitude with the ability to be a team player • Thrive in a fast-paced environment • Dedicated to providing exceptional experience • Professionalism in communication and interaction with participants Requirements: • Previous coaching experience in youth soccer • 18 years of age or older • Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. and stay active throughout training sessions • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed • Ability to work up to 28 hours per week (May – September) • Ability to travel locally up to 10% • Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policies and guidelines • Must be able to pass a criminal background check • Bilingual skills a plus Compensation & Benefits: Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices.
