Position: The Camps & Clinics Associate is part of the Youth Development Program (YDP) for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America. Position Summary: The Camps & Clinics Associate position is responsible for on-field coaching for MNUFC Youth Camps & Clinics, assisting with the organization and execution of age-appropriate Camps & Clinics throughout the Twin Cities, State of MN, and surrounding area. This position will allow you to merge a passion for coaching and community, while promoting your career growth in professional sports. This part-time seasonal role (May – September) is based in Blaine, MN and reports to the Head of Youth Camps & Clinics. What You’ll Do: • Lead engaging on-field coaching for Youth Camps & Clinics and Pre-Academy programs, creating a fun, inclusive, and development focused environment • Design and lead age-appropriate training sessions aligned with Club methodology, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and confidence building • Support Academy Coaches by helping implement the Club’s playing philosophy and coaching standards during training sessions and events • Serve as a positive ambassador for the Club, providing a welcoming and professional experience for participants and their families • Coordinate and support all on-site logistics for camps and training sessions, including setup, execution, and breakdown of fields and equipment • Assist with camp preparation and operations, such as organizing apparel, managing equipment, and pick-up/drop-off processes What You’ll Bring: • Passion for growing the game of soccer in Minnesota • Enjoy coaching and working with youth • A positive attitude with the ability to be a team player • Thrive in a fast-paced environment • Dedicated to providing exceptional experience • Professionalism in communication and interaction with participants Requirements: • Previous coaching experience in youth soccer • 18 years of age or older • Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. and stay active throughout training sessions • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed • Ability to work up to 28 hours per week (May – September) • Ability to travel locally up to 10% • Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policies and guidelines • Must be able to pass a criminal background check • Bilingual skills a plus Compensation & Benefits: Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices.
