Job Description

Description

A storied sports franchise…a world class arena…the best fans…

AND YOU

Original – Authentic – Vibrant – Attainable

Our Game Plan

The New York Islanders Hockey Club is one of the most iconic franchises in professional sports, with a deeply passionate and loyal fan base that is second to none. Built on a Dynasty in the 1980’s with four straight Stanley Cup Championships and 19 consecutive playoff series wins, our history has defined a legacy that remains untouched in professional sports. That legacy inspires us to leave our mark in the sports, entertainment, and cultural landscape.

In 2021, the New York Islanders moved to our new permanent home, UBS Arena. This state-of-the-art venue, which was built for hockey and made for music, is nestled within the historic Belmont Park – a storied landmark of New York. UBS Arena features best in class facilities and amenities, including premium suites, clubs, and lounges that offer boutique hospitality to elevate the guest experience. UBS Arena is part of a larger redevelopment project at Belmont Park, which aims to transform the area into a vibrant entertainment destination with the opening of Belmont Park Village in 2024 and the new Belmont Park Racetrack in 2026.

How To Make The Team

The New York Islanders are seeking a

Corporate Partnerships Analyst

to serve as the data and revenue-strategy engine behind the team's partnership business. This role manages partnership inventory and reporting, builds the analytics that drive renewals and new business, and develops the valuation and pricing frameworks that maximize the value of Islanders sponsorship assets. Working at the intersection of data and revenue, the Analyst translates information from across the organization into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A defining feature of this position is its close partnership with Oak View Group (OVG) National. As the Islanders' partner, OVG's sponsorship sales, valuation, and activation team works alongside our team to sell and activate corporate partnerships across UBS Arena and Islanders platforms. This Analyst supports joint revenue strategy directly, contributing inventory analysis, asset valuation, and rate card development that informs how partnerships are priced, packaged, and sold across the Islanders and UBS Arena portfolio.

Show Us You Can

  • Oversee and maintain partnership inventory, asset tracking, and deal management within the KORE Intelligence Platform in coordination with the Corporate Partnerships team
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Tableau that support partner renewals, new business efforts, inventory utilization, and broader department needs
  • Support Corporate Partnerships and OVG National revenue strategy through analysis of sponsorship inventory, asset valuation and pricing, and rate card development
  • Work closely with the Corporate Partnerships team to identify and evaluate new and untapped revenue-generating assets across broadcast, in-arena, digital, social, non-arena, and other emerging platforms
  • Manage vendor relationships and deliverables related to partner impact studies, partnership surveying, media valuation, and sponsorship tracking. Monitor new tools, platforms, and data sources that can improve partnership reporting, valuation, and asset development
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis across internal and external data sources to evaluate partnership reach, impact, return on investment, and overall program effectiveness, partnering cross-functionally with Business Intelligence & Analytics, Marketing, Digital/Social, Ticketing, and other departments to support partnership planning and execution
  • Manage multiple projects and recurring reporting needs simultaneously while maintaining stakeholder communication and meeting deadlines
  • Oversee the creation and submission of the NHL's mid-year and year-end Sponsorship reports and assist NYI Finance with the annual NHL HRR report creation and submission
  • Maintain the OVG Partnership Matrix for UBS Arena and the New York Islanders
  • Track New York Islanders digital signage traffic with the NHL
