About the role We are looking for a Data Engineer to help build and scale our data platform. You will design and maintain data pipelines, improve data architecture, and develop tools that enable reliable and efficient data processing across the organization. Responsibilities • Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines with a focus on scalability and performance • Improve and refactor existing workflows using BigQuery, PySpark, Workflows, and DataStream • Develop Python-based tools and services for data processing and infrastructure management • Design and optimize data models and schemas to improve accessibility and query performance • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to build event-driven and metadata-driven data systems Required Skills • Strong Python and SQL skills (data modeling, query optimization) • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or another cloud provider • Experience with data warehouse architecture and ETL/ELT pipelines • Familiarity with Apache Spark or distributed data processing frameworks • Experience with Git and basic CI/CD practices • Ability to collaborate effectively in English Nice to Have • Experience with BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Airflow, or Dataflow • Experience supporting BI or ML workflows • Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure automation • Experience with Pub/Sub, Kafka, or event-driven systems • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals • Knowledge of async, multiprocessing, or multithreading in Python What we offer • An open-minded environment that values you • An international multicultural team • An amazing office environment • Food vouchers (95 EUR) • Additional health insurance • Multisport card • 21 days paid leave • Flexible working hours • Manicure, massage, breakfast, and snacks in the office • Wedding and new baby bonus • Team building activities If you are interested in joining our diverse and dynamic team, we are looking forward to your application.
