Columbus NWSL 2028 are recruiting a Director of Scouting to lead global player identification and recruitment ahead of the club's inaugural 2028 season.
The role combines scouting leadership, video analysis and data-driven recruitment to help build the club's first professional squad.
- Lead scouting strategy, staff and international networks.
- Identify and assess professional, NCAA and youth players.
- Develop player grading systems, shortlists and depth charts.
- Integrate video, data analytics and AI into recruitment.
- Support player acquisitions, transfers and roster planning.
- Extensive professional football scouting and recruitment experience.
- Proven experience managing scouting teams.
- Strong knowledge of NCAA, US youth and international football.
- Experience using Wyscout, Impect, SkillCorner, InStat or TransferRoom.
- Ability to integrate data into player assessments.
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
Desirable: Coaching/scouting qualifications, Sportscode, Nacsport and established recruitment networks.
