Job Description
ASPA is pleased to share this opportunity on behalf of a high-performance sport organisation.
This role focuses on delivering performance and technique analysis to support coaches and athletes, helping drive better decisions and improved performance outcomes.
- Deliver performance and technique analysis in training and competition
- Provide clear insights using data, video, and visualisations
- Support coaches and athletes with objective performance feedback
- Contribute to sport performance models, benchmarks, and analysis frameworks
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to support athlete development
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across athlete and competitor data
- Turn complex data into simple, actionable insights
- Support planning with both short- and long-term analysis
- Help build systems and processes to improve analysis delivery
- Collaborate across teams to enhance performance impact
- Experience working in high-performance sport (ideally Olympic/elite level)
- Strong background in performance/technique analysis
- Confident using data tools (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
- Skilled at communicating insights to coaches and athletes
- Collaborative, organised, and detail-oriented
(Desirable: major event experience, research background, postgraduate qualification)
- Degree in Sport Science or related field
- Understanding of elite sport environments and performance systems
- Work directly with elite athletes and coaches
- Be part of a collaborative, high-performance environment
- Influence real performance outcomes through data and insight
