Responsibilities:
- Bank Account Monitoring & Reconciliation:
Monitor daily bank account activity, review incoming payments, investigate discrepancies, and perform regular bank and cash reconciliations.
- Cash Application & Payment Posting:
Perform timely and accurate posting of customer payments in ERP system, ensuring proper allocation of incoming receipts against open invoices and customer accounts.
- Service Delivery & Issue Resolution:
Ensure timely resolution of payment-related queries, unapplied cash items, short payments, deductions, and customer disputes while maintaining high service quality and strong customer focus. Top of Form
- FX Differences & Accounting Adjustments:
Analyse and process foreign exchange differences, including FX gain/loss postings, write-offs of bank charges, and other related accounting adjustments.
- Withholding Tax Management:
Review and process withholding tax deductions, coordinate with customers and internal tax team to ensure accurate accounting treatment and reporting.
- New Payment Solution Implementation:
Support the implementation and stabilization of new payment solutions and banking tools.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Cooperation:
Maintain effective working relationships with Bank Admin team, payment providers, Treasury, Cash Collection, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end cash management processes.
Third-Party Collection Management:
Collaborate with external collection agencies by responding to queries, providing payment details and supporting documentation, and communicating Management’s decisions related to outstanding debts and recovery actions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English (minimum B1).
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of Oracle or another ERP system is an advantage.
