About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically skilled Game Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of pre-match and in-game player projections across various sports markets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sports statistics, prediction markets, and daily fantasy sports operations. Based either in Atlanta, GA, or remotely within the U.S., you will work closely with sport owners, product teams, and risk management to develop and implement strategies that enhance our game offerings. Your responsibilities will include monitoring live projections, managing risk, and supporting new product initiatives to ensure seamless game operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the core functions of our platform and contribute to the ongoing growth of PrizePicks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, analytics, finance, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory)
• One to three years of experience in Daily Fantasy Sports, sports gaming, or prediction markets (preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of DFS, prediction markets, and sports gaming industries
• Strong understanding of college and major sports leagues, including players, teams, and matchups
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and willingness to learn new software tools
• Ability to analyze multiple data streams simultaneously and make timely, informed decisions
• Availability to work nights and weekends aligned with sports schedules
• Strong time management skills and reliability
• Ability to adapt and apply game operations skills across different sports

Responsibilities

• Post and maintain accurate pre-game and in-game player projections for all supported markets and leagues
• Monitor live player projections, tracking key information and adjusting as needed
• Manage risk by utilizing modeling and quantitative analysis to ensure projection accuracy
• Analyze player play patterns to refine internal processes and improve projection quality
• Collaborate with sport owners to implement strategic initiatives and best practices for key markets
• Support and execute product development and enhancement initiatives
• Help establish standard operating procedures for game operations tasks
• Apply and adapt game operations skills to additional sports and markets as assigned
• Maintain a thorough understanding of sports data and how it impacts projections and risk management
