A quick summary about the Global Partnership Graduate Associate role:
The Global Partnership Graduate Associate will focus on supporting to all members of the Global Partnerships department in order to gain insight and experience into the operation of a professional sports organization, particularly as it relates to sponsorship development and activation.
What the Global Partnership Graduate Associate will be responsible for:
• Assist the Activation/Renewal team with daily tasks under the supervision of the Account Managers and Representatives.
• Assist in organizing and executing Global Partner activities and events.
• Track and manage Global Partner promotions and prize fulfillment.
• Execute game night duties as directed, including but not limited to: collecting photos, concourse table and Fan Fest set-up for sponsors, assist Marketing department with sponsorship contest fulfillment, etc.
• Support Global Partnership business development team in managing hospitality tickets and generating new leads, while contributing creative ideas to enhance partnership assets.
• Assist renewal and new business team with the creation of proposal presentations, including research of prospective partners, compiling support metrics/data and copywriting.
• Assist with activation tracking and contract fulfillment as requested.
• Attend client meetings with Account Managers and Representatives as requested.
• Assist Activation/Renewal team with Season Recap presentations.
• Update and distribute the following reports weekly: partner contracts and account summaries, partner promotions update report, department invoices and current partner lists.
• Work with the Creative Services and Marketing departments to fulfill partner-related signage and promotional needs.
• Maintain awareness of sponsorship/market trends and knowledge relative to what Orlando Magic Global partners and their like competitors are executing in other markets and/or professional leagues.
• Attend and participate in weekly departmental sales, activation, and game-related marketing meetings.
• Attend all organized Graduate Associate-related functions as determined by the Graduate Associate Program, i.e., Graduate Associate Training Camp.
• General office duties: Data entry, copying, filing, faxing, maintaining mailing lists, ordering office supplies, and collecting and distributing departmental mail.
• All other duties as assigned.
What the Global Partnership Graduate Associate needs to have:
• Post Grad (recent college graduates within 24 months of graduation) or graduate-level college students required.
• Degree in Marketing and/or Sports Management preferred.
• 1-2 years of marketing or sports management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other related computer skills required.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well with tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and support multiple high level executive positions.
• Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
• Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
• Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
• A willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.

Relocation Information:
• Relocation and housing expenses are the responsibility of the Graduate Associate (Please note that while we have a hybrid work model, this does require you to live and work out of the Orlando, Florida area.)
• Reliable transportation is also needed
Working Hours:
• Office Hours - M-F, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
• Based on role determines in office and remote working by the manager
