Are you a motivated, hardworking, and goal-driven individual looking to launch a successful career in sports sales? Hornets Sports & Entertainment (HSE) is seeking Inside Sales Representatives to join our 12-18 month career development program, designed to provide hands-on training and professional growth in ticket sales. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be trained as a full-menu sales professional, gaining valuable experience in selling luxury suites, premium seating, season tickets, mini-plans, and group outings. Revenue will be generated through phone outreach, email marketing, in-person presentations, arena tours, and out-of-office appointments. You will receive comprehensive sales training, daily coaching, and one-on-one mentorship from our experienced sales management team to help build your career in the sports industry. Core Values HSE embodies the following core values: • Integrity • Teamwork • Competitiveness • Candor • Accountability • Resilience Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Proactively prospect and qualify potential sales opportunities. • Drive revenue through the sale of full-season, partial-season, and group ticket packages. • Maintain and update customer and prospect records in the CRM system. • Make 100+ outbound calls per day, coupled with effective email communication. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service. • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals. • Assist with customer service efforts, including mailing invoices and tickets. • Help organize and execute Select-A-Seat events for prospective buyers. • Conduct 3-5 in-person appointments per week, including arena tours and seat presentations. • Serve as a game-day sales representative, engaging with clients and assisting at the sales table. • Participate in weekly sales meetings and role-play training sessions. • Represent HSE at sales-driven arena events to promote ticketing opportunities. • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager. Required Skills, Experience and Abilities To perform the job successfully, you will have or demonstrate the following skills and abilities: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field. • Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus. • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with clients across various industries. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients. • Exceptional customer service skills, always prioritizing the fan experience. • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, handling multiple tasks efficiently. • Adaptable and comfortable handling change in a dynamic sales environment. • Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external contacts. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Availability to attend all Hornets home games and team-related events.
