Job Description

Manchester United are seeking an International Scout to lead talent identification and player assessment across Eastern Europe, supporting both long-term recruitment strategy and immediate First Team requirements.

Working across youth (U16+) and senior football markets, the successful candidate will utilise live scouting, video analysis, market intelligence, and regional networks to identify and evaluate elite talent for one of world football’s leading clubs.

International Scout (Eastern Europe)

⚽ Key Responsibilities

  • Scout and assess youth and senior players across Eastern Europe
  • Attend strategically selected live fixtures throughout the region
  • Conduct video scouting and player evaluation
  • Produce detailed player reports covering strengths, weaknesses, and future potential
  • Gather intelligence relating to player character, professionalism, injury history, and market status
  • Assess suitability against Manchester United recruitment benchmarks
  • Maintain regional watchlists and priority target tracking systems
  • Build and maintain relationships with clubs, coaches, agents, and federations
  • Support recruitment meetings and provide strategic recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scouting databases and reporting workflows

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience scouting youth and/or senior professional football
  • Strong understanding of player development and talent identification
  • Excellent knowledge of elite football and international player markets
  • Ability to produce high-quality scouting reports and player assessments
  • Experience using scouting platforms, video analysis tools, and player databases
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
  • Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours
  • Fluent English language skills
