Job Description
Manager, Ticket Operations
The Washington Commanders are seeking a manager of ticket operations to join our ticketing department. This individual will work closely with the ticket sales and service teams, and report directly to the senior director, ticket operations.
Overview
The manager, ticket operations will be responsible for the ticket operations and management of all concerts and special events held at Northwest Stadium. The manager is the ticketing point of contact and liaison with ticket promoting entities. Additionally, this person is responsible for the selection, training, support, and evaluation of all part-time ticketing and box office staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Build all events in the ticketing system, including seating manifests, price tables, special offers, presales, etc.
· Manage all aspects of inventory after creating events, including holds / kills for artists, marketing, production, promoters, venue, etc.
· Collaborate with promoters and stadium operations on CAD setup and scalings for potential events
· Oversee financial reconciliation in regard to daily reporting, monthly reporting, and event settlement
· Act as ticketing liaison between promoters and the facility
· Plan, direct, evaluate, and provide leadership to part-time staff and box office personnel
· Support ticket operations for all Commanders games and related events
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience with increasing ticket operations / box office experience; preferably with a sports team / facility, convention center, or performing arts facility
· Experience with concerts and special events
· Experience managing inventory and pricing
· Experience managing full-time or part-time staff
· Seat Geek Unify experience required
· Ability to provide a high level of customer service to all customers, both internal and external
