Msc Performance Analysis Placement at Loughborough Lightning Rugby

Loughborough Sport are offering an exciting Performance Analysis Placement combined with the MSc Applied Sport Performance Analysis course, working with the Lightning Rugby 1st Team. The successful candidate will gain over 450 hours of applied experience across match and training analysis, performance data collection, video feedback and coach-led projects, while studying on Loughborough University’s industry-leading MSc programme. Analysts will work within an elite interdisciplinary environment alongside coaches, support staff and athletes, with access to technologies including Catapult, Hudl and Tableau. The placement also includes mentorship, networking opportunities and dedicated placement tutor support. Candidates should have experience in rugby performance analysis, strong technical and IT skills, knowledge of analysis software and an understanding of how analysis supports coaching and player development.
