Job Description

Ospreys Rugby, in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University, are offering an exciting MSc Studentship opportunity for an aspiring Performance Analyst to gain hands-on experience within an elite rugby environment.

The successful candidate will combine postgraduate study (MSc Professional Practice – Sport Performance Analysis) with an applied placement embedded within the Ospreys Performance Analysis team.

⚽ Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities

  • Work alongside an established analysis team within a high-performance environment
  • Support video and data analysis processes across training and matches
  • Deliver applied analysis projects to coaches and staff
  • Gain experience using industry-leading analysis software and workflows
  • Contribute ideas and innovations to enhance performance processes
  • Engage in CPD, workshops and practitioner development opportunities

Placement Details

  • Based at the High Performance Centre, Llandarcy
  • ~4 days per week (including evenings/weekends as required)
  • Travel opportunities across Europe
  • Duration: Up to 12 months
