The Senior Coordinator, Parking Operations supports the planning, coordination, and execution of parking and traffic operations across Spurs Sports & Entertainment venues, including Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field. Reporting to the Manager, Parking Operations, this role is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of parking plans, ensuring efficient ingress and egress, and delivering a safe and seamless arrival and departure experience for guests. This position collaborates with internal teams, external vendors, and public agencies to execute event parking operations, monitor traffic flow, and maintain industry best practices in parking, safety, and crowd management. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. What You’ll Do: • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of parking and traffic plans for events held on and around SS&E properties. Coordinate and support parking operations for 100+ events annually across SS&E venues. • Monitor event operations to ensure effective traffic flow, guest experience, and adherence to safety standards. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners including parking vendors, law enforcement, transportation agencies, and contractors to execute event operations. • Support coordination of large-scale event staffing, including parking attendants, traffic personnel, and vendor teams. • Monitor and analyze traffic patterns, construction updates, and external factors • Provide real-time operational support from event command center and on-site patrols to optimize ingress and egress. • Assist with development and maintenance of parking policies, procedures, and operational standards. • Support event reporting, documentation, and timely submission of operational recaps. • Perform other duties as assigned. Who You Are: • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. • 1–2 years of experience in parking operations, event operations, or related field. • Experience with financial tracking, auditing, or administrative processes preferred. • Valid Texas driver’s license required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required by event schedules. • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with approximately 70% onsite and 30% remote. Physical Requirements: • Stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. • Navigate stairs, parking lots, and event spaces. • Work outdoors in varying and potentially extreme weather conditions. • Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
