Reporting to the LFC Women PGA Head of Player Development, you'll play a key role in coaching, capturing and analysing training sessions and matches, supporting both individual player development and team performance within the club's game model.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the country's leading women's football academies, combining coaching and performance analysis to help develop the next generation of elite players.

As PGA U21 Coach Analyst, you'll support the planning and delivery of training sessions while providing high-quality video analysis across both training and match environments.

Working closely with coaches and the wider multidisciplinary team, you'll produce evidence-based feedback, maintain Individual Development Plans (IDPs), capture best-practice examples of Liverpool FC Women's game model, and provide matchday analysis support for the U21 programme.

  • Support the U21 Head Coach in planning and delivering high-quality training sessions.
  • Analyse training sessions to support individual player development and team performance.
  • Produce and present pre- and post-session video examples aligned with session objectives.
  • Support the monitoring and review of Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
  • Develop video libraries showcasing the club's football philosophy, including team principles and position-specific examples.
  • Film U21 matches at home and away fixtures.
  • Set up and manage the matchday analysis workflow.
  • Deliver live and half-time video support to coaches.
  • Produce individual player clips linked to positional requirements and development objectives.
  • Create match examples demonstrating the club's game model in competitive environments.
  • Manage the setup, maintenance and storage of analysis equipment.
  • Ensure efficient capture, distribution and organisation of training and match footage.
  • Work collaboratively within the U21 multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to performance reviews, planning meetings and player development discussions.
  • Represent the analysis department professionally across the academy programme.
  • Keep up to date with emerging analysis technologies and best practice.
  • Engage in ongoing CPD and maintain professional accreditation.
  • Support departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • BSc in Performance Analysis, Sports Science or a related discipline.
  • UEFA B Licence.
  • Experience providing performance analysis support within an elite football environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of analysis software, including Hudl Sportscode, Hudl Replay or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience operating camera systems, including IP camera technology (desirable).
  • Strong presentation skills using Hudl Studio, Keynote or PowerPoint.
  • Excellent technical and tactical understanding of football.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Experience working with female athletes in a high-performance environment.
  • Previous experience within professional women's football.
  • MSc in Performance Analysis or a related discipline.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in one of England's leading women's football academies, supporting player development through a unique combination of coaching and performance analysis.

You'll work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, helping develop future First Team players while contributing to the ongoing evolution of Liverpool FC Women's playing philosophy.

Liverpool FC is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.

The successful candidate will be expected to uphold the club's safeguarding standards and contribute to a positive, respectful and high-performance culture across the Professional Game Academy.

If you're passionate about coaching, player development and elite performance analysis, this is an outstanding opportunity to help shape the next generation of Liverpool FC Women players.
