Job Description
Player 15 Group – the sports & entertainment brand behind the Phoenix Suns (NBA), Phoenix Mercury (WNBA), Valley Suns (G League), and Mortgage Matchup Center — is redefining the industry standard. Headquartered in downtown Phoenix and engaging fans across the world, Player 15 Group is driven by possibility, innovation, and the desire to create memorable moments for our fans and community.
Our culture is anchored in purpose-driven leadership and fueled by individuals who bring passion, creativity, and vision to everything they do. We challenge convention, amplify voices, and create experiences that resonate well beyond the final buzzer. This is where talent meets purpose and bold ideas become reality.
We are seeking a highly technical and hands-on Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our Salesforce ecosystem as we transition from Microsoft Dynamics. This is a foundational role responsible for establishing scalable architecture, defining best practices, and building solutions that directly support our business operations.
This individual will operate as both an architect and developer, owning end-to-end CRM solutioning while partnering closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and leadership. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable whiteboarding system design as they are building flows, writing Apex, and deploying production-ready solutions.
What You Will Do:
• Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of our Salesforce platform during and after migration from Dynamics
• Design scalable, flexible CRM solutions aligned to business needs across ticket sales, partnerships, and operations
• Act as a hands-on developer - developing flows, Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and other custom solutions
• Define and implement Salesforce best practices, governance, and technical standards
• Architect data flows into and out of Salesforce, partnering with data engineering and external vendors as needed
• Serve as a key advisor on CRM strategy, helping shape how Salesforce supports long-term business goals
• Train and mentor analysts and team members on building flows, automations, and scalable processes within Salesforce
• Own deployment lifecycle, release schedules, and environment management (sandbox, QA, production)
• Manage relationships with Salesforce-related vendors, consultants, and implementation partners
• Other duties as assigned
What We Need from Our Technical Architect:
• Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture and development, with a strong bias toward hands-on execution
• Proven ability to design scalable CRM systems from the ground up in a fast-paced environment
• Experience building and optimizing Salesforce environments with a focus on performance, scalability, and usability
• Experience in mentoring and enabling non-developers to build within Salesforce (flows, automations, etc.)
• Ownership mentality - comfortable operating as the primary technical authority for the CRM platform
• Experience with integrations and data architecture (APIs, ETL tools, data pipelines)
• Expertise in:
• Salesforce Flows and Process Automation
• Apex development
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce data modeling and security architecture
• Familiarity with deployment tools and DevOps processes within Salesforce (e.g., CI/CD, version control)
Experience/ Education Requirements:
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including architecture and development
• Salesforce certifications
• Required:
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
• Preferred:
• Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
