Job Description
Sunderland AFC are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scouting Analyst Intern to support the club’s Player Recruitment Department within an elite Category One Academy environment.
This role offers hands-on experience across player identification, video scouting, reporting, and recruitment operations, working closely with the club’s scouting and recruitment staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce structured scouting reports on youth and professional matches
- Conduct video scouting and player monitoring across selected leagues
- Maintain and update player tracking databases
- Create individual player video analysis using Sportscode
- Support live scouting assignments and departmental projects
✅ Ideal Candidate
- Strong interest in football scouting and recruitment
- Good understanding of game principles and player evaluation
- Experience with Sportscode and iMovie desirable
- Strong written reporting and communication skills
- Python/data analysis skills advantageous
- Goalkeeper knowledge considered a bonus
