Job Description
Chelsea FC is seeking a Talent Pathway Analyst to join its player recruitment and development department, supporting the identification, tracking and progression of elite football talent.
Working alongside recruitment and talent pathway teams, you'll combine performance analysis, video scouting and data-driven insight to help inform recruitment decisions, monitor player development and support one of the world's leading football academies.
As Talent Pathway Analyst, you'll play a central role in evaluating and tracking players across Chelsea's talent pathway, producing detailed player reports, video analysis and performance insights that support recruitment, loan management and long-term player development.
This is an exciting opportunity for an analyst with strong football knowledge and a passion for talent identification to contribute to one of the game's most respected player development environments.
- Produce detailed player background reports and talent profiles.
- Support recruitment and player pathway decision-making through objective analysis.
- Assist with scouting, recruitment and loan management projects.
- Track player development across loan programmes, leagues and territories.
- Analyse player performance using match data, playing minutes and positional trends.
- Interpret performance metrics to generate meaningful recruitment insights.
- Monitor player progression throughout the talent pathway.
- Produce professional telestrated player videos using industry-leading software.
- Create engaging presentations for Sporting Directors, technical staff and key stakeholders.
- Deliver weekly reports that support recruitment and player development decisions.
- Work closely with recruitment, pathway and technical staff.
- Maintain recruitment processes and departmental standards.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative and high-performance working environment.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Experience in Performance Analysis, Recruitment Analysis or Loan Analysis.
- Degree in Sports Analysis, Sport Science or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong proficiency with Piero and/or Hudl Studio.
- Ability to interpret football performance data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Outstanding understanding of football recruitment, player development and performance analysis.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- FA Talent Identification Level 3 qualification.
- Experience working within elite football recruitment environments.
