Your Role As a Gensler Technical Designer, you will blend creativity and technical expertise to deliver high-performing, functionally beautiful spaces while collaborating with office and regional leaders to drive project outcomes and improve processes. You’ll work on some of the most exciting projects in the live events industry. These high-profile, fast-paced projects call for strong leadership, sharp instincts, and real-time decision making, creating an ideal environment to grow through problem solving, collaboration, and mentorship. What You Will Do • Work with the Design Director(s) and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions • Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives • Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs Your Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university required • 0-5 years of related project experience, with interest or background in sports, data center, or advanced manufacturing projects • Proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software • Beginning knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements • Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly • A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment • Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills Culture in Gensler’s Sports Studio Gensler’s Sports Studio is a place where design meets the energy of live events. We view our professional development programs as strategic investments in our future. **The base salary will be estimated between $70,000 - $80,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
