Job Description
The Prospect League, a premier wood bat summer college baseball league, seeks a 2026 Data & Analytics Intern for approximately 12 weeks from mid-May to mid-August (start dates contingent on availability). This quality educational and professional experience provides diverse sports management opportunities that will help the successful candidate in pursuit of a sports business career. The position is part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week). Dedicated hours, including nights and weekends, are expected for motivated candidates. The League staff will work with the successful candidate to structure scheduled hours. A stipend will be paid upon completion, and college course credit may also be arranged.
Under the direction of the League Commissioner, Director of Technology and Operations, and Manager of Digital and Strategic Content, the intern’s duties will include involvement in, but not limited to:
• Serve as the primary contact for provider (Trackman) and data analytics liaison to member clubs
• Interpret data and compiled reports that can be utilized for social media and broadcast content
• Monitor club use, problem-solve, and aid in functionality of League’s data analytics program
The intern will work remotely with no required travel.
