Job Description

The Video Trainee is responsible for capturing and editing video content from home and away games, practices, studio shows, community appearances, player shoots, press conferences, and a variety of other projects. The Videographer/Editor Trainee will assist in shooting, ingesting, logging, production setup/breakdown and editing features to be shared on Rams digital and social accounts, TV, and in-stadium video boards. ***THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION*** Job Responsibilities: • Shoot and edit press conferences • Shoot and edit community and player features • Shoot and edit practice content • Support production and post-production needs related to studio content • Assist video team with equipment and lighting setup and breakdown • Production assistant on Rams marketing and partner shoots • Production assistant for the video team during all Rams home games • Remote editor for all Rams away games • Log game footage using specific formatting and strong attention to detail • Create and execute new content ideas for social and web • Other duties as assigned Role Qualifications (Skills/Experience/Capabilities): • Flexible schedule required to successfully complete job requirements, including days, nights, weekends, holidays with ability to travel as needed • Experience using professional cinema cameras • Knowledge of lighting setups • Knowledge of sound recording/mixing and podcast production • Knowledge of social media platforms • Experience editing with Adobe Premiere and related Adobe Cloud products; with knowledge on how to input music, dialogue, graphics and effects • Discretion and trustworthiness related to sensitive football-related material • Ability to lift 35-50lbs for a prolonged amount of time • Must have excellent attention to detail • Creative mind, storytelling skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects • Versatility, organization, responsibility and dependability • Collaborate and communicate as part of a team • Ability to work and complete solo shoots/projects • Transportation to and from work/events at all hours and times of the week • Knowledge of the Rams organization/players is a plus • Fluency in Spanish is a plus • Please include a link to previous work and/or demo reel Pay rate: $18/hr.
