Glamorgan Cricket Club Glamorgan Salary £28,000 31.3.2026 1. Job Summary The Women’s Performance Analyst will collaborate closely with the Head of Women’s Cricket and Women’s Head Coach to strategically support the recruitment of the professional women’s squad for the 2027 season. The role will provide advanced, evidence-based performance analysis across the Glamorgan Women and Academy programmes, playing a pivotal role in elevating standards and driving player development across Academy, Pathway, and Professional levels. By delivering actionable insights, the post holder will directly influence tactical planning, individual progression, and team performance, ensuring Glamorgan continues to produce cricketers capable of excelling at the highest levels. In consultation with the women’s head coach, the post holder will ensure that the players and teams receive effective tactical and technical preparation, supporting the development of cricketers capable of progressing to and succeeding at higher levels of the game. This is a full-time position within an elite performance environment, requiring a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary to meet the demands of the role. Contract Term:    Until 31st October 2029 2. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development and application of evidence-based data analysis to inform the recruitment of a professional women’s playing squad. • Deliver live, in-match analysis and insights to support objective decision-making by players and coaching staff in the women’s squad. • Produce detailed opposition analysis for all women’s fixtures in collaboration with the coaching staff and captain. • Provide post-match analysis for women’s fixtures tailored to the needs of coaching staff and individual players. • Develop and introduce opposition analysis and post-match reviews for the female academy squad. • Maintain and manage performance databases to support both opposition scouting and recruitment processes. • Deliver tactical insights to inform coaching approaches and match strategies. • Code home women’s and academy fixtures when required. • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of performance analyst interns within the women’s pathway. • Capture and analyse training sessions, providing structured feedback to players and coaches. • Support the media team in delivering a high-quality live streaming service. • Keep up to date with best practice and emerging innovations in performance analysis within high-performance sport. • Assist the Sports Science and Medicine department with relevant filming and analytical support. • Manage the setup, maintenance, and upkeep of all technical equipment related to performance analysis. • Ensure compliance with ECB CPA requirements in all aspects of performance analysis. 3. Knowledge, Skills and Experience • Post or Undergraduate Qualification in Performance Analysis or a related field • Good presentation skills across a variety of formats • Demonstrable experience of providing performance analysis and knowledge management services to a high-performance environment. • Experience of a Performance Sport environment • Excellent IT skills and experience working with data systems relating to performance sport. • Excellent knowledge and understanding of cricket • Ability to motivate and influence professional cricketers, coaches and teams • Exceptional planning, coordination and organisational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team • Driver’s Licence • DBS enhanced check • Attended safeguarding ECB course Personal Attributes • The Women’s Performance Analyst will be a highly credible, clear thinking and articulate individual with: • High standards of personal and professional integrity • Significant levels of energy and enthusiasm ...
