Job Description
Luton Town are seeking a First Team Post-Match Performance Analyst to lead the club’s post-match review process through the integration of video and data analysis.
Working within the First Team Analysis department, the successful candidate will provide detailed tactical insights, team reviews, and performance feedback to support player and team development throughout the season.
First Team Post-Match Performance Analyst
⚽ Key Responsibilities
- Lead post-match analysis using video and data insights
- Produce team review meetings and post-match reports
- Identify tactical trends and performance patterns
- Support pre-match workflows and video annotation
- Travel with the First Team to home and away fixtures
- Deliver live match analysis in high-pressure environments
- Develop analysis projects supporting football department research and development
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ full-time experience in professional football analysis
- Strong tactical understanding of football and playing styles
- Proficiency with Hudl Sportscode, Studio, StatsBomb, Matchtracker & related tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex insights into actionable feedback
- Degree in Sports Science, Coaching, or related discipline

- MSc in a sports-related discipline
- UEFA Coaching Qualification
