Job Summary:

The Manager of Partnership Development & Strategy will play an integral role on the Partnership Strategy team in supporting both the Partnership Sales and Partnership Management teams. The core responsibilities will include ideating & developing partnership proposals across new business, renewals, bank utilization and incremental upsells all while collaborating with the entire organization to build meaningful, innovative partnerships.
Responsibilities:
• Proposal Development:
• Work closely with Partnership Sales team to identify the business objectives of a prospective client and translate those needs and goals into a holistic partnership plan
• Communicate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Rams Studios, Community, etc.) to develop holistic and strategic partnerships that meet the brand’s objectives & KPIs
• Responsible for ensuring effective communication between departments to facilitate collaboration and foster performance
• Develop sales enablement tools including client proposals, term sheets, prospecting sheets, thought starter documents, decks, etc.
• Work with internal creative team to maintain brand standards and develop compelling storytelling within partnership proposals
• Asset Management:
• Proactively identify and capitalize on new partnership sales opportunities that support the brand and business
• Oversee the maintenance of all corporate partnership inventory (e.g., gameday assets, digital/social assets, etc.)
• Assess current industry trends and anticipate the potential for growth and development to assist the Corporate Partnerships team
• Evaluate and provide strategies to create new inventory based on current and historical sales data from all NFL teams
• Partnership Growth:
• Collaborate with Partnerships team to identify strategic growth opportunities for the purpose of renewals and upsells of current partner brands
• Work closely with Partnerships team to ensure we’re meeting and exceeding partners brand KPI’s
• Develop concepts for incremental opportunities and bank utilization with insights provided by the Partnership Marketing teams.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Work with Strategy team to run and operate efficient workflow process within the Partnerships team.
• Establish interdepartmental relationships and work cross-department on partnership strategy development
• Participate in weekly cross-organizational meetings and be a Partnerships Sales team liaison to outside departments within the organization.
• Assist as needed across brand and partnership events
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years of full-time experience required in sales, activation, marketing or another relevant role (professional sports, agency and/or brand side experience)
• A true team player with a passion for out-of-the-box ideas and a willingness to learn
• Strategic and critical thinker who is dynamic, innovative, analytical and extremely well organized
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once and shift from strategic thinking to tactical execution several times a day
• Effective communicator with ability to build robust working relationships
• Experience with receiving brand objectives/KPIs to then create marketing or partnership campaigns, outlines and strategy
• Ability to take initiative, work on multiple projects and communicate progress with the team effectively
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000.
