Video Analyst Match Analyst at Fip Tuscany
Job Description
The Italian Basketball Federation Tuscany Regional Committee (FIP Toscana) is recruiting a Video Analyst / Match Analyst to join the technical staff supporting its Female Youth Regional Squads.
The analyst will work closely with the Territorial Technical Coordinator (RTT) and regional squad coaches, using video and performance analysis to support the development and monitoring of Tuscany's leading female basketball talent.
This is an applied analysis position combining match and training analysis, athlete scouting, video feedback and database management.
The successful candidate will support both coaches and athletes throughout regional squad gatherings and key tournaments during the current season.
- Record and analyse regional squad matches and training sessions.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative scouting of selected athletes.
- Tag and edit individual and team video clips.
- Prepare video content for review and feedback sessions with coaches and athletes.
- Maintain and organise the regional video database.
- Manage analysis footage and information for sharing with the National Teams Sector.
- Work collaboratively with the Territorial Technical Coordinator and Female Youth Squad coaching staff.
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of basketball.
- Experience or certification in video and performance analysis.
- Confidence using standard computer systems and video-editing software.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility around training, squad gathering and tournament schedules.
- Strong teamwork skills within a youth performance environment.
- Residence or domicile in Tuscany.
- Ability to travel independently to regional squad activities.
A FIP coaching or instructor qualification is preferred.
