Job Description
Bromley FC are seeking a First Team Performance Analyst to support the delivery of innovative, high-quality performance analysis as the club continues its journey in EFL League One.
Reporting to the Head of Performance Analysis and First Team Management, this role will provide tactical, technical, and data-driven insights across all phases of the analysis cycle, helping coaches and players maximise performance through evidence-based decision-making.
First Team Performance Analyst
⚽ Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of pre-match opposition analysis
- Utilise video, data, and telestration tools to support game-plan creation
- Produce detailed opposition player reports using video and performance data
- Deliver clear and actionable insights aligned to the club’s playing philosophy and game model
- Undertake live coding during matches and provide tactical feedback to coaching staff
- Support in-game decision-making through real-time analytical insights
- Attend and support all First Team home and away fixtures as part of the matchday analysis operation
- Deliver team, unit, and individual post-match analysis when required
- Lead the capture and analysis of training sessions
- Provide live and post-session feedback to support coaching objectives and player development
Essential Requirements
- Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Performance Analysis or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of football tactics, game models, and playing styles
- Experience delivering analysis within an elite football environment (First Team or Academy)
- Proficiency with Hudl Sportscode, Hudl Studio, Wyscout, and related analysis software
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Adaptability within a fast-paced, high-performance environment
