First Team Performance Analyst at Leicester City Fc
Job Description
Reporting to the Lead Performance Analyst, you'll deliver high-quality video, tactical, and data-driven analysis to support First Team coaches and players. Working within a multidisciplinary performance environment, you'll play a vital role in match preparation, live analysis, player development, and continuous performance improvement.
- Deliver detailed performance analysis to support First Team coaches and players.
- Produce comprehensive opposition analysis, identifying tactical trends, strengths, weaknesses, and key performance indicators.
- Create high-quality video presentations, reports, dashboards, and visualisations to support match preparation and performance review.
- Use video analysis, telestration, and performance data to communicate tactical insights clearly and effectively.
- Support First Team training sessions through video capture and analysis.
- Operate live touchline video systems and analysis workflows during matches.
- Deliver live analytical support to coaching staff throughout matchdays.
- Assist with post-match performance reviews and player feedback.
- Work closely with the Data & Insights department to integrate video and performance data into coaching workflows.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of analysis systems and operational processes.
- Maintain organised video libraries, databases, and analytical resources.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practice in football performance analysis.
- Experience working within a professional football performance analysis environment, ideally at First Team level.
- High-level proficiency with Hudl Sportscode, Hudl Studio, Keynote, and other industry-standard analysis software.
- CAA-approved drone operator qualification with experience capturing aerial training footage.
- Strong tactical understanding of football and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Performance Analysis, Sport Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience delivering live match analysis in a stadium environment.
- Experience integrating performance data with video analysis.
- MSc in Performance Analysis, Sport Science, or a related discipline.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
